New Enrollment
We are happy to have you join our school district. Screven County Schools registers all students, new to Screven County or those off roll for 10 or more days, at our Board of Education Office.

Please call 912-451-2000 to make an appointment. Walk-ins will be seen as time becomes available between scheduled appointments. If registering on the first day of school or after a holiday, an appointment is critical. Wait times for those without an appointment may be lengthy.

Copies of registration forms are provided below. We encourage you to print these forms and bring the completed forms with you to the Board of Education office during the hours of registration shown below. In order for students to start school on the day that they register, they must be registered before 11:00 A.M. and have all required paperwork.

These items are required for registration: proof of residency, a current Georgia immunization record, Georgia Department of Public Heath Form 3300, certified birth certificate and social security card. A current utility (water, electric, or cable) bill with a 911 address or current rental lease can be accepted as proof of residency.

Two-Step Registration Process

In order to attend a Screven County School, new students and families must complete a Two-Step Registration Process.

Step 1 - Registration
Parents/Guardians must visit the Screven BOE Office to complete all required forms and submit verification of proof of residency, immunization, Georgia Department of Public Health Form 3300, certified birth certificate and social security card. The family will register all school age children during this visit. Children are not required to be present during registration.

Step 2 - Enrollment
After registering at the BOE office, parents/guardians and students will visit the assigned school to obtain class assignments, schedules, and other information.

If you are unable to do so, copies will be provided for you during your appointment time.  The entire packet of Student Registration Forms must be completed for each child enrolling in the district.
